Yes. The Purezone requires a Wi-Fi signal.  You must have a Broadband 2.4Ghz Wi-Fi signal where the spa is located.

If you need to extend the signal of your Home Wi-Fi to the spa area, you can either purchase a Wi-Fi range extender (non-Mesh network) or if you have a Mesh Network, you may need to purchase an additional mesh network node.

Note:  Mobile Hotspots using cellular signal cannot be used to provide Wi-Fi connectivity.  Mobile Hotspots are dependent on a Mobile Hotspot subscription and will not automatically reconnect after power outages.
