iOS App push notifications can stop sometimes due to various reasons. Follow these troubleshooting steps:

Check Push notifications settings in the Purezone app

  • Launch the Purezone app
  • Tap the Gear icon (Settings) in the upper right-hand corner
  • Tap Push Notifications > Ensure the Notifications Toggle is enabled

Check App Push notification settings in iPhone settings

  • Tap iPhone Settings > Notifications
  • Tap Purezone
  • Ensure Notifications are Enabled
  • Under Alerts
    • Select  Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners by tapping the Check Box
  • Under Lock Screen Appearance > Show Previews
    • Select "When Unlocked (Default)" - Notifications will only appear when the iPhone is unlocked
    • Select "Always" - Notifications will appear immediately even if the iPhone is locked

Other reasons that you may fail to see push notifications

  • Poor Internet Connectivity
    • Unlike SMS notifications which are sent through the cellular network, Push notifications are sent using Wi-Fi or Mobile Data networks
  • Ensure your iPhone has a stable internet connection
    • Check your settings and enable mobile data if necessary
  • Do Not Disturb Mode
    • Ensure Do Not Disturb mode is not enabled, as it can prevent notifications from reaching your device
