If you see "Put Unit in water and tap Measure Now" in the Purezone app, it is an indication that the Purezone attempted to measure your water, but was unable to do so because the flow sensor was not completely submerged in your spa water.
The flow sensor, shown in the image below highlighted with a red rectangle, is part of the cassette housing that is suspended in your spa. The flow sensor must be completely covered in water or measurements will fail.
This error is caused by the Purezone sensing a lower than normal water level in your spa.
- It can also occur if the water jets are running too high, reducing the water level
- It can also occur if you have removed the Purezone from your spa for spa cleaning
To resolve, do the following:
- Ensure that the Purezone is suspended correctly so that the flow sensor is completely submerged in water.
- You may need to adjust the cable length using the cable tie to permit the Purezone to hang lower in your spa if this issue occurs frequently.
- After you have ensured that the Purezone cassette housing is now completely submerged, and that you are within Bluetooth range of the Purezone, tap "Measure Now" in the app
- The measurement will now proceed
