Why does "Measure Now" take so long time to complete when I am outside Bluetooth range of my Purezone?

When a Measure Now is requested in the App when you are within Bluetooth range of the Purezone, the Measurement results will be displayed after about 12 minutes.

When a Measure Now is requested in the App from outside the Bluetooth range of the device, the Measure Now request is sent through the cloud using the customer's Wi-Fi connection instead of Bluetooth.

  • To conserve power the Purezone checks in with the cloud once every 30 minutes for any new Measure Now Requests
  • After the Measure Now is complete, the water measurement data is sent to the cloud to sync with the Purezone App
  • For this reason, when you are not within Bluetooth range, there can be up to a 45 minute delay from when the water measurement is requested as to when the data is displayed in the Purezone App
