The Purezone device has a Sensor that is suspended by a cable. The "Sensor not in Water" Alert is usually displayed if the Purezone Sensor (the metal tab on the side of the cassette holder) is not immersed in water.
Note: When you initiate a "Measure Now" through the Purezone App, the app checks to see if the sensor of the Purezone is submerged in water. The Purezone has a Flow Sensor (Metal rectangle) on the side of the cassette holder suspended by a cable. If the Flow Sensor (Metal rectangle) is not in the spa, or not completely submerged in the spa water, the measurement will fail and "Put the unit in water" will be displayed in the app. If this occurs, you will have to wait until the next daily scheduled water measurement for the issue to be resolved.
Perform the following troubleshooting:
- Check to ensure that the Flow Sensor (Metal rectangle) portion of the Sensor that is suspended by a cable is completely immersed in the spa water and that the metal triangle is facing the spa and not facing the back of the spa
- If the water level in your spa has changed and is lower than normal preventing the Flow Sensor from being immersed in water, you will need to ensure that the water level is raised to a level where the Flow Sensor is immersed.
If you have completed the above troubleshooting steps, have waited at least 30 minutes and the Purezone app still shows "Sensor not in Water" there may be a problem with your device, click here to submit a Support Request and we will respond.
